Joyce Sally
Burlington, NC
Previous Occupation: Office Manager
Previous Income: $15,000
Current Income: $300,000

"I have a servant's attitude. It's not just about me and what I make; it's about serving people."

Local to NAA HQ, Joyce grew up in Burlington, NC and found her NAA opportunity through her husband, Huston. He ran into Andy during a golf game and told him that his wife needed a job with flexible hours. Andy told him that NAA was the perfect career for her; with short hours and big benefits, it'd fit perfectly into Joyce's lifestyle.
Before joining NAA, Joyce had already honed her people and business skills through previous positions as an office manager for a small business, a church financial secretary and organist, as well as a distributor for another home-based business. Her varied background and "whatever it takes" attitude was a perfect fit for the NAA lifestyle.
Joyce quickly became a pioneer in a male-dominated business and agency. Within her first year in the business, Joyce produced 1099 income of more than $65,000. Not only that, she was the only agent who earned all of the exotic incentive trips offered by NAA, and the first woman agent to receive NAA's $100,000 income ring without the assistance of a business partner. Joyce believes that other women can also achieve a $1,000,000 agency if they adhere to the solid NAA system.
Joyce continues to give to her church with her newfound income. She believes that NAA has given her family and others hope and vision for our lives: "We are able to give to the ministries and causes that we believe in and be a blessing to other people. God has blessed me and honored my hard work and commitment to helping others. My goal is to touch as many lives with our opportunity as God will allow and provide the way." She wishes to leave a lasting impression on her family, church and community, as well as serving as an example of a well-lived life.
Sally tells new recruits that they must be willing to make mistakes, and subsequently learning from them. Maintaining integrity and accountability in everything you do is a cornerstone of NAA, and Sally echoes those values: "As Philip Hudgins says, 'there's no right way to do the wrong thing.'"
Joyce has the free time now to spend time with her family, which includes her husband Huston, and her children Matthew, Bobby, Jennifer and her husband Bobby. Her children have given her three grandchildren. She is still commited to her religious beliefs and spends much of her time nurturing her relationship with God. Some of her hobbies includes reading, making baby blankets for her grandchildren, entertaining and cooking.
